Job Description
We are seeking a coach to work as part of a professional, enthusiastic team to deliver tennis coaching, events and services to our members and wider community.
Approximately 10-15 hours of on court coaching is available from the new school term in August with potential to grow hours through private lessons, competitions, events and holiday camps across both junior and adult clients.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of our on court sporting activities and off court club environment including but not exclusively, school and community programme, termly tennis programme, clinics and events, tournaments, developing teams.
We have ambitious plans and the successful coach will form an important part of the team and be provided with training and mentoring from the head coach.
We are looking for someone with a pro active attitude to come on board to add value to our tennis programme.
Overview of Venue
Whitecraigs Tennis Club is situated in the south side of Glasgow with 6 floodlit artificial clay courts, 2 artificial grass courts, 3 squash courts, gym and bar area
Person Specification
Level 3 LTA Accredited+ coach is desirable, Level 2 coaches aiming to complete/work towards their level 3 qualification may be considered.
This is an exciting role for the right candidate to join a growing and ambitious club.
You will have the desire to develop your coaching career along with having strong personal, organisational and communication skills combined with a growth mindset. Your skill set will extend off court with an interest and ability in promoting the club, services on social media and to the local community and beyond.
