A fantastic opportunity has become available for a highly committed individual to develop and enhance tennis opportunities across a range of functions.
LVRPA the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the Tennis Foundation (TF) are working in close partnership with the aim of increasing tennis participation across East London and sustainable tennis activity at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the provision of new tennis opportunities with LVRPA and to enhance the lasting legacy left from hosting the Paralympic Wheel Chair Tennis event in 2012.
The main aspects of this role are to coordinate and deliver through coaching, tennis sessions within education and community settings across East London. In addition, this post will create new tennis activity at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park through the coordination for schools festivals, tournaments for people with disabilities and introductory community sessions.
A minimum LTA Level 2 qualification is required along with a sound knowledge of tennis development and delivering community tennis projects will be required.
