Job Description
You will be instrumental in increasing tennis participation by developing links and networks to provide more opportunities for people within tennis. You will also look to build positive links with Active Devon, local schools, LTA etc to support the growth of tennis. You will support the University with communications to customers and building a good rapport with them. You will help organise and develop key events as well as running promotional opportunities to develop participation. This will role will also allow you develop your coaching skills and provide on court coaching for our customers on our development programme.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead on increasing tennis participation for all
Develop more opportunities for customers to increase participation
Enhance the tennis experience for all whilst at the University
Link with other departments within the University to develop effective communications and opportunities for staff/students to access tennis or the facilities
Support and organise school festivals, promotional days and events
Oversee and run our holiday tennis camps
Deliver on court coaching to our customers and programme
To help with customer enquiries that may arise.
Training and Development opportunities
Develop coaching skills to a level 2 or 3 LTA qualifications. Internal coach mentoring from more senior coaches and access to University internal courses.

Qualifications
Degree relating to Sport - will consider a non-sport degree if can show that they have a wealth of experience in this industry
Minimum of LTA level 2 tennis assistant qualification
Valid DBS and first aid
