Job Description

A highly motivated coach is required to work as part of a team to deliver and grow tennis programmes at a number of tennis clubs within the Chester area. The role is to increase player participation levels and facilitate membership growth at the clubs through establishing a stimulating and varied tennis programme, linking in closely with local schools and community groups. Bonus payments will be awarded based on course participation levels and membership growth. There will also be the opportunity to lead a number of holiday camps based at the clubs

Overview of Venue

Ace Tennis Academy is a tennis services provider which is looking to expand the programmes at a number of smaller clubs in the Chester area. They include Kelsall (3 courts plus indoor Mini Tennis Hall), Tarvin (4 courts - 2 floodlit, plus indoor Mini Tennis Hall), Tattenhall (2 newly resurfaced floodlit courts) and Malpas (2 floodlit courts) & Christleton High School (3 courts plus sports hall).

Person Specification

The coach will need to have a strong team ethic with a genuine passion for tennis, and high energy levels to inspire players and grow the game. Coaches must be professional in their approach and have excellent communication and organisation skills.

Level 3 coaches are preferred, although Level 2 coaches looking to upgrade to a Level 3 Award will be considered.
