Aegon Trophy (Nottingham) |

This annual tournament is held at the Nottingham Tennis Centre and is part of the ATP (Association of Tennis
Professionals) Challenger Tour and the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Women’s Circuit. It is a grass court
international tournament where both men and women play for world ranking points and in preparation for The Wimbledon Championships.

Aegon Nottingham Challenge |
8th June – 18th June |

This is the second week of tennis at the Nottingham Tennis Centre, where male and female international players continue preparing for The Wimbledon Championships and acquiring world ranking points. It is part of the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) Challenger Tour and the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Women’s Circuit.

Aegon Classic (Birmingham) |
9th June – 16th June |

Held at the Edgbaston Priory Club, just outside Birmingham City Centre, this is an international series tennis tournament on the WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) Tour. Played on grass, it is the equivalent of the Men’s Queen Club Championships and is another chance for women to prepare for The Wimbledon Championships.

Aegon Championships (Queen’s Club) |
10th June – 16th June |

For male tennis players only, this is the second largest grass court tournament, outside The Wimbledon Championships. It is held annually at The Queen’s Club, West Kensington London, in the week after the French Open in June. It is part of the ATP World Tour 250 series tournament on the ATP Tour and a popular warm-up for The Wimbledon Championships.

Aegon International (Eastbourne) |
15th June – 22nd June |

In 2009, this tournament became an ATP and WTA event, featuring both male and female players. It is another preparation tournament for The Wimbledon Championships and is played on grass courts at the Devonshire Lawn Tennis Club, Eastbourne.
The tournament actually starts on 17th June but you can also get tickets for the qualifying games on the 15th and 16th of June, which are free on Saturday 16th!

The Boodles (Stoke Park) |
18th June – 22nd June |
|
An international five day tennis event, held at Stoke Park Country Club, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire. This grass court event mixes an English summer party with some high level tennis, as male players prepare for The Wimbledon Championships.

Liverpool International |

This mixed event, held at Calderstones Park, Liverpool, is another opportunity for ATP and WTA players to practice their grass court tennis before The Wimbledon Championships.

ATP World Tour Finals (O2 Arena) |
4th November – 11th November |
|
This is the end of season championships for the top eight singles and doubles players in the ATP World Tour. It is played on an inside hard court and held annually at the O2 Arena, in November until 2015. The tournament differs from the other knock-out events on the ATP Tour because the players are separated into two groups and take part in three round robin matches. The two best performing players from each group progress onto the semi-final and the winners of the semi-finals then play in the final.

The Masters Tennis (Royal Albert Hall) |
4th December – 8th December |

This is an indoor tournament, held at The Royal Albert Hall, London, for tennis legends that have previously played in the ATP World Tour. Players must have been retired for two or more years, or be in the year of their 35th birthday, to be able to participate.
