2005 Jun 17 - Henman cautious of Nieminen
Tim Henman will not take lightly his first round draw against the Finn Jarkko Nieminen, a player who has
been ranked as high as 27 in the world back in 2003 and is currently ranked 70.
Although the Finn does not favour grass courts he could still pose a realistic threat to the British No.1's
progress at the All England Club.
Tim told his personal website:
"His ranking isn't quite as high as it once was but he has weapons, and if he uses them well he can cause
problems for anybody.
"I have a good idea what to expect in terms of his strengths and weaknesses.
"But I always feel I play my best tennis when I dictate play, and that's what I'll certainly be trying to do as
much of the time as possible.
"I know that if I do that well I can beat anybody on grass, and so I'll be concentrating on trying to execute my
game plan to the best of my ability and then taking it from there.
"I usually match up well against lefties and so although I know that it will certainly be a challenge it's one I'm
very much looking forward to."
