2005 May 04 - Henman into third round
Tim Henman made light work of Chilean Nicolas Massu with an impressive 6-3 6-2 victory to reach the third round
of the Telecom Italia Masters in Rome, Italy.
The British No.1 needed just one break of serve to take the opening set.
He then broke twice more in the second only for Nicolas to respond with a break of his own. But a come back
was off the cards as Tim broke again to seal a well deserved win.
After the match Tim told Sky Sports:
"Massu's service games always felt like I was keeping him off balance.
"I was patient and played at a high level the whole match.
"I don't think clay is my best surface but I feel like I've been pretty consistent all round."
In the third round Tim will face Slovakian Dominik Hrbaty in their first meeting on a clay court.
All of their previous three meetings have been on hard courts with Tim victorious on each occasion.
