2005 Feb 17 - Henman into quarter-finals

Tim Henman dispatched Frenchman Michael Llodra 6-4 6-1 to book his place in the quarter-finals of the World Tennis event in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

It is a win which gives the British No.1 the opportunity to exact revenge on Croatian Mario Ancic who played outstandingly to defeat him in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon last year.

Tim said:

"He played a great match at Wimbledon but I'd like to get some revenge. That will be sweet."

The match against Michael Llora was delayed by approximately thre hours and Tim was grateful for those supporters who stayed on. He added:

"I'd like to thank everyone for hanging around so late."

"It's not so easy when there's a lot of hanging around, but it was a good match for me."
