2004 Jul 05 - Henman crushed by Hewitt
Tim Henman took his win/loss record against Australian Lleyton Hewit to 0-8 as he was humbled
6-1 6-4 in the third round of the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati, USA.
Both players have very different styles of play but once again the it seems the Australian holds
all the cards when these styles meet on the court. However, a contributing factor to this defeat
may also be attributed to Tim defeating Hicham Arazi in the early hours of this morning which gave
the British No.1 very little time to recover.
After the match Lleyton Hewitt said:
"I felt like I played pretty consistently today.
"I knew it would be a tough ask for him to come back after playing late against Arazi last night.
"The first thing I wanted to do is try and get off to a good start and really stamp my presence down on the match.
"I was able to do that. I held my first service game, broke, held to love the next two games.
I felt that really set things up well for me there."
