2004 Jul 02 - Parmar defeated by Moya in Cincy

Arvind Parmar came through two qualifying rounds before losing 3-6 7-5 6-2 to Spaniard Carlos Moya in the first round of the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati, USA.

The British No.3 stunned Moya by going up an early break in the first set and holding on to take the set 3-6. Arvind then went up a break in the second but this time was reeled in by Carlos who broke back twice for 7-5. Momentum and confidence was now with the Spaniard and he wrapped up the match with a comfortable 6-2 final set.
