2004 Jun 02 - R.Garros: Felgate backs Henman

David Felgate (LTA Performance Director) believes Tim Henman has what it takes to win Roland Garros, despite facing tournament favourite Guillermo Coria in the semi-finals on Friday.

David said:

"There will only be four guys left, so of course Tim can win it.

"Coria has only lost one match on clay in the last year. It's a tough call but I think the pressure is on Coria rather than Tim.

"He's about to play the most in-form player on clay in the world.

"And in the first four rounds, if you look at who he played, it wasn't outside the realms of possibility that he could get through.

"But I think against Chela he was outstanding.

"I'm sure he hasn't come this far in the tournament to not think he can win it."
