2004 Apr 25 - Henman wins Monte-Carlo doubles
Tim Henman's disappointment at not progressing further than the quarter-finals of the
Tennis Masters Monte-Carlo singles tournament ended on a more positive note as he and
Serbian Nenad Zimonjic defeated the Argentineans Gaston Etlis and Martin Rodriguez 7-5 6-2
to take the doubles title.
After the victory Tim said:
"It's a lot of fun, and when you win it's even more enjoyable.
And his doubles partner Nenad added:
"I've been struggling to find a consistent partner, and I will try to
persuade Tim to play with me at least one more time."
Tim is not a regular on the doubles circuit but has taken 4 ATP doubles titles in his career,
the last was some 5 years ago at this very same event. Here are the doubles tournaments Tim has won:
