2004 Apr 05 - Henman up for Luxembourg
Tim Henman is cautiously optimistic going into Great Britain's forthcoming match against
Luxembourg in the Euro/Africa Zone (Group 1) Davis Cup tie. Tim said:
"On paper, Britain has the stronger side but Davis Cup is a great competition and
players react in all sorts of different ways.
"Some rise to the occasion and some tend to get a bit more nervous than they do in
regular tournaments, so that always makes it very interesting.
"Luxembourg have the advantage of playing at home, which always tends to help too.
"However, we've got a few days to get used to the court so I'm sure we'll all be ready
to perform come Friday.
"Hopefully we can get the right result and take our place in the play-offs for the World
Group in 2005."
The British team will also consist of Greg Rusedski, Arvind Parmar and Jonathan Murray.
The Great Britain v Luxembourg Davis Cup tie will kick-off on the 9th April - see the official
Davis Cup website.
