2003 Sep 20 - Davis Cup: Henman & Rusedski recover
Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski pulled a point back against the Moroccans by winning 7-6 6-2 6-4
in the doubles against Hicham Arazi and Mourir El Aarej. Going into the last day Morocco lead
Great Britain 2-1.
Afer the match Tim said:
"There was nothing good I could take from yesterday's defeat, even though I could still have won
the third set.
"I didn't feel good on court, but I also played erratic tennis and never gave myself the chance
to create chances because I took too many risks and had poor shot selection.
"The neck seemed to get better as the game progressed; the tension in the singles yesterday didn't
help and I was much more relaxed today."
And on the singles match against Younes El Aynaoui tomorrow, Tim commented:
"It's a huge match. Yesterday was my most disappointing performance in the Davis Cup and so it's personal.
"I have to be aggressive because if we can get into the tie. I think we can take it one step further.
"I had to raise my game today, but tomorrow will be my biggest challenge."
