2003 April 15 - Henman shoulder scan all clear
Tim Henman is set to return to action within two weeks following an all clear decision on his shoulder scan.
On Tim's official website he said:
"The specialist told me it was clear from the scan I had that the recent pain had been
caused by inflammation, which has now dispersed.
"I'm obviously very relieved the problem wasn't more serious. He also explained there is an
element of wear and tear but that is to be expected when playing a sport such as tennis."
Tim is back on the practice court, and has accepted a wildcard entry for the Munich International tournament on the 28 April.
The AELTC's have agreed to seed the top 32 ranked players in the world for the Wimbledon tournament.
With Tim's inactivity he has slipped close to what could be a dangerous first round draw at Wimbledon.
Therefore it has become even more important for Tim to perform well in Rome, Hamburg, and the French Open.
