Frinton Lawn Tennis Club is seeking expressions of interest to for a tennis coach to take a lead role in the development of a vibrant and successful coaching programme, an exciting and attractive calendar or tournaments catering for all abilities, as well as forming partnerships with local partners, including schools and instigating LTA initiatives.
Frinton Lawn Tennis Club is looking for a Tennis coach and Head of tennis development. You must be well organised, show loads of initiative, self-motivated and get on supremely well with people from all walks of life. You will act as an ambassador for the Club and promote, organise and arrange tennis events for the members. You will have a proven track record of growing tennis club memberships and establishing links with schools, local community and other partners.
Superb site in prime Frinton location
22 tennis courts, (16 grass and 6 all-weather floodlit)
We have over 400 tennis members.
The club also has 3 squash courts, outdoor swimming pool, new gym & fitness suite, superb functions facility, a bar and social area, is licenced for weddings, all within a beautiful clubhouse & grounds.
The club is run by the members for the members and has proud history and reputation as one of the UK ‘s most prestigious clubs.
As our Coach and Head of Development, you will need:
Passion for the club and tennis
Minimum Level 3 accredited or above.
Good listening and communication skills "we want people who will give our customer what they need”
Able to create links with the LTA, local schools, local council key positions, funding/sporting bodies etc..
Knowledge of all areas of tennis
On and off court role and development responsibilities
Passionate, with a can-do attitude who see solutions not problems.
Organised with good administrative skills
Able to lead and develop others
Creative in developing new initiatives
